The ancient road that connected Canterbury in the Middle Ages both to Rome and to the ports of Puglia was rediscovered by modern travelers, along a route that offers marvelous panoramas, passing through villages and countryside that allow us to grasp the best the Tuscan land can offer. It is possible to follow it on foot or by bicycle, in a journey in stages that starts from high Tuscany (Aulla) to reach Lazio passing through Lucca, Altopascio, San Miniato, San Gimignano, Siena, and many other places.
From our domus the starting points of the stops in Altopascio and Lucca can be easily reached.
